Magic was not always accepted in my world. Growing up, Father taught me that it was dangerous. I believed for a while that magic-users were bad people. Sometimes magic happens to good people though. We fought a war over it: magic versus mundane. With the number who died, there was no real winner, so we chose instead to live together in peace.
It showed me that people change, a lot more than anyone could expect.
