The flashing red lights
Tells me of the danger
That is about to unfold
I hear two cars collide and crash
Shattered metal and glass all around
Shattered lives of the loved ones
And, the people standing nearby
There is always one who is distracted
Leaving everyone confused and dazed
The fireman and the ambulance arrive
I pray that neither one has died
I hear the sirens all the time.
I see the lights flashing at the same tie
I pray, how I wish, today will be different
So I know that everybody made safe home
