Tom was 23 years old and he was having a full-blown temper tantrum. This is not unusual for the baby in the family, a boy who was coddled and kept from falling over at all times. Vicky realised now that her youngest son was gravely unequipped to deal with something as traumatic as losing his father, and she wished she could lay down on the kitchen floor and kick and scream too.
