Doing it for science by Michael James

Prompt: Coming Undone | Word count: 1200 | Genre: Short Story
PG 13 [L|V]
I don’t like the diary format with all its narcissism, and me, myself and I. It always felt lazy to me. I enjoyed The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole when I was younger, because we shared the same age. I’ve always felt writing in the third person is nobler somehow. But a few days ago the world turned to shit, and this journal seems like a good way to keep me sane. So here I am, doing what I hate, and finding it harder than I thought. So don’t read this critically, because I’m no expert.
