Transhumance by Teresa Preziosi

*Transhumance is a form of pastoralism or nomadism involving the movement of animals (sheep, cattle) between winter and summer grazing areas. Typically winter pasture is in the lowlands, and in summer cattle are moved to higher ground. Referred to as booleying in Ireland.
