The warm spring weather had attracted dozens of residents and the crowd spilled out over the sidewalk. Everyone was wearing brightly colored clothes and sporting umbrella adorned drinks. The Brazilian samba was pulsating in the walls and the whole room shimmied to the beat. All around her, people were laughing loudly and telling inane stories about their upcoming summer plans.
