Jasmine looked at the pile of dishes in the sink. It was already past 9pm and she was exhausted. The kids had taken longer than usual to complete their homework and her husband, Aryan was still not back from work. This was becoming the norm now rather than the exception.
As she started washing the dishes, she wondered about the state of her life.
Her to-do list had been… get married, earn a stable income, buy a house and make it a home and become a mother to healthy, happy children.
Yes, she had ticked off every one of those boxes.
