He patted the bed with his hand, beckoning me to come to bed. Bobby is such a sweet soul, I’m so fortunate I found him!
My pillows plumped up and the paisley comforter turned back, I slid into bed and beamed a soft smile to answer his smiling eyes. ” Martha,” he began in his deep voice, “would you like me to read you the rest of the book tonight?” 
“Darling, no. Not tonight. I am enjoying it too much to get to the. . .  ending.” I softly replied as I took hold of his left hand.
