“The art gallery? You must be joking, Carol,” Heather was taken aback.
“Why not? Do you think this is not going to work?” Caroline asked, admiring herself in the living-room mirror. The contouring was perfect. She looked beautiful in the emerald green sheath dress.
“Come on, Carol, I never knew that you had any penchant for art! I would be surprised if this works,” Heather shrugged.
“I think it will, Heather. I’m getting late. See you,” Caroline stepped out of their shared apartment.
